I gave up on OneNote pretty quickly for that class and used Squid instead, which allows you to write on letter-sized pages. So you have, for example, the numerator part of an equation at the bottom of page 3 and the denominator at the top of page 4.
#HOW DO I EXPORT FROM ONE NOTE VERSION 17.7 PDF#
I can export as PDF on OneNote, of course, but when the "page" is a huge blank canvas and you try to export it as a PDF with letter-size paper, OneNote inevitably cuts off my notes at random places, especially if it is an equation or a sketch/ graph. In one of my classes last semester, I was the note-taker, which meant I had to send PDFs of my notes to the prof after class and he'd post it for the whole class. I'm now seriously considering moving away from OneNote. In other words, there is no vertical spacing between the two lines - they appear almost on top of each other, making reading annoying, to say the least. When the handwritten text syncs, sometimes (and this happens with enough frequency for me to get annoyed) on my laptop, two lines of text appear as if I wrote the first line, then wrote the second line exactly over the first line. The major issue I have with the syncing is: I take notes on the tablet, which syncs with my OneDrive folder on my Windows 10 laptop, and basically I can access those notes whenever. I have some gripes about the functionality of OneNote on Android (not enough features, no palm rejection and so on), but this post isn't about that. I use the OneNote for Android app on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (the 2014 edition) which comes with a stylus that I use to take notes with. For the past year and a half, I've been using it to take notes for all my classes in grad school.
